Congratulations you awe inspiring hero you, though this victory is somewhat bitter sweet due to the outcome of your awesome battles. At least you've got friends to persevere with, Yulie and the mysterious Eldore.
This is the true beginning of the game where many avenues of interest begin to open up, one in particular being Geonet. To start accessing Geonet you need to zone out to the world map and view the one time power point-esque presentation on what Geonet is all about.
From then on, you can access Geonet whenever you want from any save point. Just click a save point, select Geonet, then select Sign In. You'll be given access to friends, message boards, your own customizable home page, adventure logs, and the Georamas of people from miles away!
Perhaps most importantly, by accessing Geonet you can choose to edit/view your very own Georama, your Georama being your very own town! In it you place the buildings, scenery, shops, and items you want, where you want, how you want, and you can recruit citizens to live there and stock your shops with their spoils (to be sold to you at a discounted rate and to your friends at full price). More about all that later.
You can't build on thin air can you? (Though a city in the sky would be nice!) You've got to get your hands on some land to build on. Thankfully, the land will be sold to you at a steep discount for just 1,000 Gs. Purchase the land from the character that looks like a rabbit near the south gate in Balandor. A save point should be near him as well.
Remember! These options will not open up until you have received the Ark of the White Knight (the ability to transform into the white knight). Before these events, if you attempt to speak to the deed salesman, he'll only share with you his woes about starting up a new business.
So, you've got your land! Go ahead and select "edit Georama" from the Geonet submenu. The game will show you around with a brief and informational tutorial and has even been nice enough to start you off with a farmer to live in your town and a large brick house for him to live in! Mess around with the options, learn by doing.
Here's so quick information about your Georama.
You do NOT have to have online access to use your Georama. You can edit it and wander around in it without signing into Geonet.
To share your Georama with friends, you must have online access. Sign into Geonet. Go to your homepage. Select Hometown. Tab over twice and you will see a wide button to upload your Georama.
If you upload your Georama then, say, add a tree while offline in edit mode, the tree will NOT appear in your online Georama! You must upload it AGAIN whenever you make a change that you want others online to see.
Some recommend ignoring your Georama until you are finished with your first playthrough as building your Georama requires farming specific items and wasting a great deal of money. The choice is yours and dependent on your play style.
You have a huge amount of land but only a small plot to build on. To increase the size of your plot (and the polyn available for use) you must select "Develop Property" from the Georama editing menu. Developing the property is akin to "leveling up" your Georama. As well as increase the amount of polyn you can use to build, it will also allow you to make more items in the Papitaur Workshop.
Thanks for reading about how to start your Georama and begin your adventures in Geonet! Look for more articles on Verto! for more in depth guides to all of the features.
