What You Didn't Know About New Game +

If you've beaten the game or are about to, I suggest learning about the New Game + opportunity that is about to be open to you. No real spoilers here about the ending, just what you keep and don't keep going into New Game +.

Please! Keep a save before the final battle! After beating the game it will prompt you to save again (so you can create a new game + file). To be safe, make that new save in a separate slot. You might not like what you lose in New Game +.

So, excited about New Game +? Heard lots of rumors. Here's some quick low down on what's going on in the land of plus.

You'll see a star beside the "New Game" option on your title screen to let you know you can start a New Game +.

All of your characters (even those that left the party or you do not start the game with) keep the weapons and items that they were carrying when the game ended. For example, when you first see Yulie in New Game +, she'll be wearing whatever armor you put her in when you beat the game the first time, not her original adorable outfit.

All of your characters will be the same level with the same skill point assignments you left them with when you ended your first game.

Key Items are not retained in New Game +. You must collect them again.

Geonet is not accessible until you receive the Ark of the White Knight again in the story.

Your Georama is not effected.

Binding is not accessible until you reach that part of the story again and complete the objective again.

Opening certain chests will yield new items. (I.E. chests in Greede Underbelly that before contained chromium have been seen to contain "Magic Shoes" or "Paladin Sword" or "Magical Robe"-a level 42+ equipment set)

That's all that I know for certain right now. I'll let you know more (probably just by editing this post) as soon as I get my mitts on the information!
